Gisborne Country Veterinary Services is a small family business comprising of husband and wife team: Alex and Tessa Meban. Born in Gisborne, Alex grew up on a large sheep and beef station near Whatatutu.  He met Tessa at Massey University’s Veterinary School and together they worked for a number of years in Gisborne before heading down south. After a fantastic three years in the beautiful Mackenzie Country and after the arrival of their son Finn in 2022, they decided that they wanted to move back to the place they love most to raise their family. 

 

At Gisborne Country Vets we pride ourselves providing the highest level of professional veterinary service to Gisborne and the East Coast region.

 

With our combined experience and expertise we care for all kinds of large animals and offer a wide range of services to support the Sheep and Beef, Deer, Dairy and Equine industries.
